Getting to know Elizabeth DeLullo

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. One of the best things about coming to therapy is the amount of courage it took for you to get here. There is nothing I dislike more than to see human suffering. I have gone through enough of my own and was determined to not let it ruin my life. Therapy is a collaboration between client and therapist and together we will focus on your strengths to help you understand your worthiness was never in question. You may require more skills and techniques to learn in order to overcome your concerns and issues. My primary focus is anxiety, depression, self esteem, phobias, fears, women's issues, OCD symptoms, agoraphobia, and finding meaning to life and answer questions like, why am I here? I also volunteered at a Hospice and did my internship there and have knowledge in grief and bereavement therapies. I have also worked with incarcerated individuals going in and out of the prison system. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Ashford University and my Masters in Science In Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. I have over 11 years experience working with people from age 4 to 89. I am blessed as these people taught me so much and I love the work I do. I am of the belief that the way we think directly affects the way we feel. I also use a person centered approach, meaning I follow my client's lead and the direction they wish to take. The great thing is, is that there are so many different sets of skills and interventions to utilize, we will work together to find the ones that work best for you. It all depends on each individual's specific needs and wants.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My counseling style is pretty much down to earth and I have have been described as 'pulling no punches' and getting to the point. I am caring and compassionate and have a decent sense of humor. You can expect to feel relaxed as we meet and talk and begin to sort through any issues you may have. I want you to feel safe here without any judgment, very important to me. I will ask you from time to time if you feel I am best reaching your needs and it is important to be honest with me. I said earlier I am blessed to do this work and I want to make sure you feel we are a good fit and I am understanding of your concerns. Let me know if something works and if something doesn't! Remember, I am here for you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
