Lizzy joins the Trisha Johnson Therapy Group with experience working with middle school, high school, and college populations. She has worked with adolescents aged 12 and up through middle-aged adults. Much of her experience focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying, grief and loss, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), communication skills, athletes, and career coaching. Lizzy earned her Master's in Counseling from Northern Illinois University.

Lizzy strives to make clients feel heard and understood in their journey, while providing them with skills to achieve their goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Lizzy uses a plethora of therapeutic approaches such as Client-Centered, Strength-Based, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Creative Arts, as well as Spirituality-Centered counseling when requested.
