“Beth has been wonderful to work with. She has a very down-to-Earth personality that makes you want to share or comfortable to share with her things you may not share otherwise. Sharing those things that may be difficult to share help facilitate recovery. She is good at pushing you to consider alternatives and following up at the next visit.”

Getting to know Elizabeth Marsh

Hi. My name is Beth Marsh, and I am a licensed mental health counselor living in Florida. I have been practicing since 2000. I have worked in community mental health, large and small private practices, a professional medicine department at a local university, a residential rehab facility, and as a case manager for a large insurance company. My clients have been diverse, spanning a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. I enjoy working with most people, but my favorite clients are those ready for a change in their lives-no matter how big or small. I especially enjoy couples counseling with both traditional and non-traditional couples. I have had a lot of success helping clients with anxiety and depression. Sometimes life throws a lot our way, and you need a safe place to think, regroup, and make a new plan. I can help with that! I am seminary educated, holding a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary, and I am a Christian. However, you do not need to share my belief system. I understand different cultures and religions and love diversity. In the end, we are all humans trying to do the best we can. If you are struggling with a relationship, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or stage-of-life issues, reach out. You do not have to go it alone, and there is hope. I am here.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am pretty straight forward. During your first session, you will have a chance to unpack what you are dealing with and we will work together to establish some goals for you. We will then set about our path to help you achieve your goals. I guide you and sometimes push a little to help you along but in the end you are in charge of your therapy. It is you who sets the pace and sets the specific goals you want to achieve. If you like homework, you will get it. If you would rather not, that is ok with me…remember you are in charge. You can expect a safe, confidential place to work through whatever it is that sent you to Grow.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
