“Liz is an extremely well orientated therapist. For the past few months I have been seeing her, I almost feel like a brand new person, it's almost funny. From the timid and meek person I was before seeing Liz, I feel like a calm and more collective person whenever I look in the mirror. With her help, I've gotten over my personal struggles.”

Getting to know Elizabeth Maybalian

I am energetic, fun-loving, and charismatic. As a therapist, you will find me to be open, honest, encouraging, compassionate, and supportive. My passion is to help all my clients explore their unique individuality, inspire them to discover their strengths, and happily embrace their challenges. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide effective, empathetic care. As a mother of teenagers, I understand and empathize with the struggles that parents and children face as they navigate these confusing, chaotic, and ever-changing years. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, safe environment where individuals, teens, families, and parents can feel comfortable being themselves. Here, they can explore their feelings and emotions to empower change. I am a teacher, but I also listen and am able to challenge and help my clients grow into healthy, loving, happy, responsible individuals. For those looking to integrate Christian faith and spirituality, I am in tune with that perspective. However, I also respect those who choose to keep psychotherapy separate from issues of faith.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In my sessions, clients will take away psycho education to better understand their issues, coping strategies to better handle their issues, and empowerment to feel stronger and better supported.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
