I respect the decision you are making to invest in your wellbeing by entering the therapeutic process. I believe that we all get stuck sometimes in patterns of thought and behavior. I also believe that there are situations out of our control that we need help processing and managing the effects of. As a therapist, I ensure a safe place free of judgment, full of acceptance, where we can explore and process life events, both past and present, that are relevant to increasing your wellbeing and equanimity now.
I utilize evidence-based interventions that align with what works for you, so your therapy sessions will be uniquely fitted to your needs. As your guide, I will hold space, reflect, validate, and at times challenge-all within the bounds of my professional credential as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I take the responsibility of my job with reverence, as it is your valuable time and energy that we are working with to help achieve the healing you seek.
I earned my Master's in Counseling from Argosy University. I have worked extensively with individuals managing depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, life transitions, grief, and navigating difficult familial and intimate partner relationships in both the non-profit and private sectors. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and senior clients. My nature is warm and down-to-earth, as I truly enjoy working with and for people. I am looking to work with clients who want to do the work and are ready or preparing for the support to change.
