I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the state of Kentucky. I earned a Master's in Social Work, and I have been practicing for 13 years. I help adolescents and adults find ways to heal from their trauma, help them become more self-aware, and stop negative thinking, so they can become the best versions of themselves. My approach My greatest strength as a therapist is my empathic nature and my drive to assist others in problem-solving. I want my client to feel heard and understood. My goal is to get you to the place that you strive to be. My focus I work with individuals from ages 13 to over 70. I help people who need to find happiness, balance, and fulfillment. I want to help my clients explore their past and present, and make sense of their experiences and the choices they have made, so they may then find peace and direction. My communication style I use open dialog, active listening, and reflection to help my clients feel empowered in a non-judgmental environment. My journey to mental healthcare My journey began 20 years ago when I understood that social work was my calling and my interest in psychology led me to study psychotherapy due to my love and compassion for my fellow humans. My first session with you In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, and discuss what you are looking for in your therapeutic experiences.
