Elizabeth Page, LMFT

Psychotherapist
TX
Hello, I'm Elizabeth. My goal as a therapist is to help people find mental and emotional well-being. I don't believe people are broken; I believe we all have experiences that can be difficult to navigate. It was my own experiences that led me to this field, and for that, I am truly grateful. My approach is client-centered; I want to help you identify your goals and find solutions to reach them. I am particularly drawn to attachment theory, which looks at how our early experiences have shaped us. Oftentimes, we have stress that has been left unchecked, and helping my clients identify those stressors and live well in their bodies can be extremely beneficial. Rather than allow our emotions to dictate our behaviors, they are indicators of what is happening. We learn to ride the wave, and while we let go of the agenda of emotional control, we make choices about which emotions and feelings we engage with. I attended Liberty University, where I received my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been practicing since 2018 and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Besides my private practice, I have also worked for a community mental health agency and a psychiatric hospital, gaining experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I specialize in working with anxiety, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, stress, and trauma. My diverse background allows me to connect with clients from various walks of life and provide tailored support to meet their unique needs. When I'm not a therapist, I'm being a human and doing human things, like hanging out with my family, exercising, and traveling. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a balanced perspective to my work. If you're ready to take the next step towards mental and emotional well-being, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
