Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a bilingual therapist providing care in English and Spanish. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe, understood, and valued. As a first-generation Mexican American, I understand the complexities that can come with navigating different cultures, family expectations, identity, and life experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families within Latinx and immigrant communities while honoring the cultural values and experiences that are meaningful to them.
I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care for clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity, and personal growth. I believe every person brings resilience and strengths to therapy, even during difficult seasons of life.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, develop practical tools for navigating challenges, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Working with me is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on your individual experiences and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, respect, and a genuine connection between the therapist and client.
My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. This means we will not focus only on what is difficult or what you would like to change. We will also recognize the resilience, abilities, experiences, and strengths you already bring with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
I understand that beginning therapy can bring a mix of emotions, especially if it is your first time. During our first session, my priority is to help you feel comfortable and supported while giving you the space to share your story at your own pace.
We’ll spend time getting to know one another and talking about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently experiencing, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment—we can begin identifying your goals together.
As therapy continues, we’ll explore experiences and patterns that may be affecting your well-being while identifying the strengths and resources you can draw upon. We’ll also develop practical strategies to help you manage challenges and work toward the changes that are meaningful to you.
Throughout the process, I strive to provide a culturally responsive, trauma-informed environment where you feel heard, valued, and respected. Our work will be collaborative and guided by your goals, needs, and experiences as we work toward the life you want to create.
