Getting to know Elizabeth Segars

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my career path, which began after I gained my master's degree in social work, has confirmed that therapy is my true passion. The joy of helping individuals through their unique journeys is what deeply motivates me in this work. I have extensive experience, including roles with DFCS, a sexual assault center, community therapy, and medical social work in hospice, alongside providing individual and family therapy. I genuinely enjoy the process of helping people work through complex issues like trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, PTSD, and generational traumas. My approach is always centered on the client, and I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet your specific needs and wherever you are in your process. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Klint, my three grown children, and my wonderful granddaughter. I also love connecting with friends and family, and exploring new adventures.
