Hi there, I'm Elizabeth! Therapist for High-Functioning Women Navigating Anxiety & Trauma. You can call me Lizz. If you’re high-functioning on the outside, but overwhelmed on the inside, we may be a good fit. You might be the one others rely on. Yet underneath, you feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected. My focus I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and attachment patterns, and have additional experience supporting communication challenges, parenting dynamics, and foster and adoptive families. I am trained in Theraplay, Circle of Security, and Gottman therapy, and am an adoption-competent therapist. My approach I work with clients who are ready for something to shift and want a space to feel understood and supported. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface so you can feel more grounded and like yourself again. This work isn’t always easy—but you don’t have to do it alone. My communication style Patients would say I am nonjudgmental, honest, warm, friendly, and sometimes funny. I care a lot, but I can push because I want my patients to get better. I don’t want to waste your time and genuinely think we can get you better together, so let’s get to it! I also love to help people long-term in situations where life doesn’t get better. My journey to mental healthcare I sought therapy in college because I was spinning out of control. My therapist, Carol, sat with me through my pain. One day she said, “Elizabeth, do you want to go home in all that pain?” I said no, and she did some EMDR with me. I decided that night that I wanted to help people like Carol did. My goals for you If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward, you’re not the only one. Taking the first step can be hard, but it can also be the beginning of something different. If this resonates with you, reach out to me; I would love to help you heal and grow. We can collaborate and set a treatment plan with a few goals and reach them together.
