Getting to know Elle Garland

My goal is to create a supportive, grounded space where adolescents and adults can work through anxiety, depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem, stress, life transitions, trauma, relationship concerns, and identity development. With a background in crisis counseling and DBT Foundational Training, I offer structure, emotional regulation skills, and practical tools to navigate overwhelming experiences. I approach each session with authenticity, collaboration, compassion, and a trauma-informed lens. In our work together, you’ll have space to explore difficult emotions without judgment, strengthen coping skills, and build confidence in your ability to create meaningful change. I help clients increase self-awareness, reduce internal stigma, and reconnect with balance and purpose. I also facilitate groups through Geode’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), offered Tuesday–Thursday mornings for adults seeking more structured support than weekly therapy or transitioning from higher levels of care. In IOP, I integrate education, creativity, and skills-based interventions to build resilience and support lasting growth beyond the group setting.
