Ellen Griffin, LMFT, holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In her 20 years of experience with individuals, groups, and families, Ellen employs cognitive behavioral techniques and the principles of positive psychology. Ellen has obtained additional training in relaxation techniques, trauma and EMDR. Anxiety, depression, life transitions, and couples issues are her areas of expertise. It is Ellen's belief that the well-being of each individual includes not only freedom from emotional pain, but also the presence of positive states. Through the therapeutic partnership, Ellen's goal for her clients is personal empowerment.
