Getting to know Ellie Holmberg
I provide individual therapy to people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and postpartum struggles. Life is full of expected and unexpected changes—whether you’re just graduating, applying for new jobs, or having a baby, there are changes everywhere. Whether you’re 16 or 56, life can be hard. That's why I'm here. Together, we can work on getting you back to the life you want and figuring out what that looks like.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree from Hamline University. Please note that I am out-of-network with all insurances. My out-of-pocket fee is $120 per session. I accept HSA and FSA cards and can provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement. There are other therapists in our office who accept Aetna and Cigna insurance. Also, please recognize that I am not a psychiatrist and do not prescribe medication.
What should a new client know about working with you?
You’re used to having it all together, and I can walk beside you so you don't have to do it alone. This is a space where you don’t have to have it all together! Life is a journey, and I want to walk through this journey with you. I can help you move through these uncomfortable moments, and help you find the confidence you have been searching for.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In therapy, I provide a relaxed approach that focuses on human connection so that your time in therapy is authentic. I use a positive and welcoming approach. Our time together is yours, and I want to make sure you are able to make the most of it.
