What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is like grabbing coffee with a friend—laid back, supportive, but with intentional focus to help you move toward your goals. As moms, we often feel like we need to hold it together all the time. Therapy is your space to fall apart without judgment or repercussions. I show up as my authentic self and hope you feel comfortable enough to do the same. Whether we’re doing mindfulness, reflecting on your week, or diving into past experiences, everything we do is focused on what you need in the moment. If you have a baby (0-1 year old), bring them along! Crying, feeding, diaper changes—no worries. I’d rather you bring your little one and get the therapy you need than skip it altogether. Plus, we get the added bonus of including some mother/child bonding support or play as well if you would like. For moms of teens and tweens, I often blend therapy with practical parenting support. If it feels helpful, we can include your children in a session or two to improve communication and strengthen relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start by getting to know you—your story, struggles, and hopes. Together, we’ll build a plan that feels right for where you are, whether that’s processing anxiety, reconnecting with your body, or navigating a motherhood identity crisis. My process is grounded in attunement—I take the time to understand you deeply, which clients often say makes them feel seen and heard in a way they never expected. My approach is flexible and tailored to your specific needs. Some weeks, we’ll focus on reflecting on the present; other weeks, we may explore the past when it surfaces. For moms of older kids, I often blend therapy with practical parenting support, and if it’s helpful, I’m happy to involve your children in a session or two to strengthen family communication. Whatever we’re working on, my goal is to make therapy a space where you feel empowered, supported, and connected. Come as you are—no judgment, no pretense, just real, meaningful work together.
