Elrita has been a licensed therapist since 2006 and has been working as a therapist since that time. She has been in independent practice since 2015 and has experience working with adults, children, couples, and families. Elrita is a certified trauma therapist and utilizes CBT and DBT to help clients manage anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. She loves working with children and has experience working with children on the Spectrum as well as those experiencing behavioral challenges. Holistic health and a mindfulness approach to treatment have been very effective with both children and adult clients in her practice. Elrita received her Bachelor of Science from Lincoln University in 1987 and her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University–Camden in 1997. She received her clinical license in Social Work in 2006.
