Getting to know Elyce Garceau

Hello, my name is Elyce, and I’m so glad our paths have crossed. Has life been feeling overwhelming lately? Are there things you’ve been wanting to work through? Do you long to be truly heard and understood? Life can be challenging at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can explore the difficulties you're experiencing, whether they’re related to trauma, phobias, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship struggles, or life transitions. It’s okay to take time for yourself, to focus on what matters most to you; it's not selfish; it’s necessary. You deserve support, compassion, and a place where your story matters. I would be honored to walk beside you on this journey. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel empowered to heal and grow. A little about me: I’m originally from New York and now practice in Florida. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years as a special education teacher in NYC, working primarily with students with emotional and behavioral challenges and those on the autism spectrum. I hold an Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall University and bring over nine years of clinical experience to my practice. During the day, I also serve as a school counselor at an alternative school. I specialize in working with young adults and adults navigating the lasting effects of trauma. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in creating a space where you can reconnect with your authentic self. Together, we’ll work to transform pain into resilience and help you step into the strongest, most empowered version of yourself. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to take that next step, I’m here for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
