Please understand that I do not provide prescription medication to my clients; that must be done through your PCP. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College and an EdD from Nova Southeastern University.

Throughout the session, we’ll work collaboratively. I’ll check in with you to ensure the pace and methods feel right. You’re encouraged to share what’s working well and what’s challenging, as this guides us in tailoring future sessions.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In a typical session with a clinical social worker who uses an integrative therapy approach, each session is customized based on your needs, preferences, and progress. Here’s what you might expect:
Check-In and Goal Setting: We’ll begin with a brief check-in, discussing any updates or changes since our last session. We’ll set small, achievable goals for the session based on what’s most pressing for you, whether it's managing stress, improving relationships, or working through past experiences.
Exploring Different Approaches: Integrative therapy combines elements from various therapeutic models, such as cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and body-centered therapies. Depending on what you're comfortable with and what fits the session’s goals, we might work on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, learning mindfulness techniques, or exploring past experiences that shape your feelings today.
Focus on Practical Skills and Insight: The goal is to help you build a toolkit for dealing with challenges. In one session, we might work on relaxation techniques or strategies to manage anxiety. In another, we might delve into understanding the roots of certain behaviors and emotions. This helps build both insight and practical skills to support you outside of sessions.
