THERAPY SERVICES IN CONNECTICUT AND NEW YORK I provide therapy to kids with challenging behaviors that negatively impact their relationships with family members, pose barriers to making and keeping friends, affect their learning, and often result in feelings of anxiety, sadness, loneliness, and low self-esteem. I commonly treat children struggling with ADHD, Autism, OCD, Mood Disorders, Internal Family Conflict, and School Problems. I also have a background in crisis intervention. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Bridgeport.

What should a new client know about working with you?

By helping kids to identify and utilize coping and social skills, they are better able to regulate their emotions and positively interact with others resulting in more positive outcomes in all settings. By teaching kids how to reframe their negative thoughts with positive ones, they increase their self-esteem, experience less anxiety, build confidence and form more authentic relationships with peers and adults. I teach parents how to effectively implement behavior strategies, how to prevent escalations and de-escalate their child without becoming reactive, to speak to their child in a way that the child feels heard, to practice more empathetic parenting and re-establish a secure attachment to their child.
