Some theoretical approaches we might use together include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Insight-Oriented Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and Mindfulness Self-Compassion. My focus My training and work experience allow me to most effectively assist both adolescents and adults facing challenges related to trauma, depression, anxiety and panic, OCD, and other obsessive-compulsive disorders like Body Dysmorphia and Trichotillomania. For all of my clients, regardless of the specific challenges or disorders, I aim to help folks cultivate self-compassion, increase mindfulness, stay connected to their values, and improve overall life satisfaction. My communication style My communication style is warm, nonjudgmental, and approachable. Therapy requires so much openness and vulnerability, so I am dedicated to creating a safe space where people feel comfortable disclosing anything. My goals for you Goal setting is instrumental in therapy, ensuring we work effectively to achieve your mental health goals. I like to use one?s values as a foundation for goal setting and maintaining motivation throughout treatment. My first session with you During the first session, I will ask you a variety of questions to understand your challenges and what would cultivate a more fulfilling life.
