Psychotherapist
PA
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a therapist who works with people navigating the complex, deeply personal terrain of reproductive identity—whether that includes pregnancy loss, abortion, infertility, or choosing to be childfree. My approach is relational and rooted in feminist values; I offer a space where you don’t have to explain the basics, where your grief, questions, and choices are met with compassion, curiosity, and care. My approach My approach primarily draws from feminist and relational-cultural therapy, which means I view healing as something that happens through connection, empowerment, and understanding the impact of larger social and cultural systems on our lives. I believe that every person’s experiences are shaped not just by their personal history, but also by their identities, relationships, and the world around them. I focus on exploring how these factors influence your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also creating a safe and collaborative space where your voice is heard and respected. I regularly incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, expressive arts, philosophy, and pop culture, and self-advocacy skills into my approach. I also integrate tools from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and trauma-specific modalities like Narrative Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity affirming, and aligned with Health At Every Size. My practice is guided by the values of bodily autonomy, trauma-informed care, and grief-informed care. My focus I work with individuals and couples who are exploring or grappling with reproductive identity in all its forms—whether that means navigating pregnancy loss, abortion, infertility, ambivalence about parenthood, or choosing to be childfree. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling isolated, misunderstood, or caught in painful cultural or relational dynamics around these experiences.
