What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style is warm and authentic – it’s important that you know you are being heard and seen by another person who genuinely cares. Through collaboration and trust, I provide a non-judgmental space that is safe for you to explore your own thoughts, actions and emotions. Safe doesn’t always mean comfortable, so at times I may challenge you to embrace the discomfort of feeling your feelings, and I will be right there with you along the way. My DBT-Informed approach offers much flexibility based on your needs and goals. You can expect me to gently nudge you towards holding multiple truths at the same time in the same space, as oftentimes our beliefs about what is “right”, “wrong”, “good”, or “bad” can cause ourselves a lot of suffering. Whether you are looking to change your habits, improve your relationships, be understood, or anything in-between, I’m so grateful to support you on your own journey.
