Getting to know Emily Dziedowiec

Sharing your life with a stranger is no easy task. It takes courage to start the journey of therapy. I believe in building that relationship by helping people at their pace in a comfortable and respectful way. I hope to provide the space to safely explore emotions and past experiences together to ultimately achieve the goals we have set in mind.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is to be warm and trauma-informed; while remaining flexible and eclectic. My experience derives from my psychoanalytical program at Chestnut Hill as well as my current practicing of EMDR and other trauma-informed methods. My bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience also boosts my understanding of how our experiences affect our physical bodies. Informally, I take a personal interest in learning and working with Attachment Styles, CBT, IFS, ACT, ERP, and DBT based skills.
