Thanks for your interest in my profile on your therapeutic journey. I commend your efforts to be here and am happy to offer support. My approach I see the rapport between myself and my clients as one of the primary elements for a productive, healthy, and safe therapeutic experience and outcome. I offer kindness, compassion, and supportive understanding, as well as strive to create an environment that feels inviting and warm. Understanding and treating each client and their presenting treatment needs uniquely from a nonjudgmental stance is an additional and very important concept that I incorporate into my therapeutic approach. Ultimately, I believe therapy is a journey that both my clients and I embark on together, a journey which I am honored to be a part of. As challenging as this journey may be at times, I value making it feel as safe, enlightening, and rewarding an experience as possible. My focus My approach to therapy is formulated by the uniqueness of the person, along with the uniqueness of the environmental and familial systems within which they have developed. Over the past 25 years, I have worked with individuals, groups, families, and couples and have treated several mental and emotional health issues. I work well with transitional, self-esteem, and attachment-related matters that uniquely impact adult individuals and their relationships. I also work well with anxiety and helping people understand and develop ways to effectively manage the complex and even unsettling manifestations of their anxiety. Adult ADHD is something I specialize in working with, particularly within the context of romantic relationships and some of the unique challenges that neurodiverse relationships face.
