What should a new client know about working with you?

Are you ready to work with a therapist who gets you? I work with preteens, teenagers, and young adults. We focus on issues like identity formation, trauma, body image, and disordered eating, and they get to bring their authentic selves to the therapy space. As a queer person, I understand how important it is to feel safe in bringing your whole self to therapy. I'm here to listen to your story and let you be the expert on your life. I practice through an anti-oppression framework that seeks to be trans and queer affirming, anti-racist, and espouse the principles of Health at Every Size. I am EMDR trained and utilize it alongside narrative therapy, ACT, and parts work in my practice. When we're jumping from task to task, event to event, and screen to screen, it can be easy to lose track of who we are and want we want for ourselves.
