I've been seeing Emily for over a year now during an incredibly tumultuous period in my life. From the first appointment I felt comfortable and understood. Emily is solution oriented and uses her vast knowledge and experience to help me with techniques to deal with my stressors, as well as creating a tangible plan to improve my life. I came into therapy wanting to fix my mental health state- but by finding Emily I now feel confident to make REAL changes in my life. Not just put a band aid on things. I am so grateful for Emily and cannot recommend her enough.
Emily is a kind and thoughtful therapist - she takes the time to get to know you and uses the tools that will work best for you. I have experienced a lot of personal growth with her support, and she's helped me navigate some tough situations!
Extremely sensitive, informed, personable and personable approach. Passionate and caring provider able to provide support and assistance throughout both difficult times and everyday situations. Trauma informed and experienced at staying on task with distractions (such as children) during sessions. I would recommend Emily to anyone seeking a professional and caring provider.
Emily is great! She has been so so helpful in my therapy journey. She has always been very flexible with scheduling, and even the occasional emergency appointment needing to be squeezed in. She also will give you “homework” to do during the week and I really like that. It keeps me focused during the week on a goal she has set for me, and it gives me a clear timeframe of when it’s due.
Emily is a really amazing therapist. She strikes the ideal balance between listening/support and problem-solving. I walk away from each session feeling heard and feeling like I have good tools to work on things. She is also poised during more sensitive or emotional conversations -- I like that she pushes on me to get to deeper levels of my psyche but does so in a way that keeps me in the driver seat. It's a gift. Highly recommend her!
Emily has been great to work to work with for couples counseling. Her approach has challenged us to identify and work through several issues in our marriage. She truly seems to listen to both sides and encourages us to work on our communication outside of sessions through helpful exercises, that reinforce the skills we are learning with her. We would recommend Emily.
I always love my visits with Emily. For the first time I feel heard, understood and validated. She is honest but kind and funny so it makes the sessions enjoyable. She challenges me in the best way. She knows what I’m trying to say when I can’t find the words.
Emily is simply exceptional. She has been my therapist for 3 years and I highly recommend her. Having followed her to her new practice from a previous company, there was no way I could change therapists. It doesn’t matter what head space you’re in or your current circumstances, she works with you as you go at your own pace. Extremely easy to talk to and welcoming. She prioritizes you as the client every time and you can’t help but feel like you can voice anything or simply just say nothing at all. If you’re looking for a safe space, someone who won’t judge you at all, someone who cares in abundance then you need Emily. Cannot recommend her enough!
Emily is such a comfort for me. She has helped me tremendously, creating a safe and comforting environment. She is extremely professional and has given me a wide variety of tools and coping skills. I always look forward to our sessions, as she always knows exactly how to deescalate/ talk through any issues I may have, ranging from anxiety and family issues. I have never connected more with a therapist. Emily is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
