I believe we are born into a world of stories. They tell us who we are, how things should be, and what we are supposed to become. We go through life influenced by and adding to these stories, which can be sources of strength or limitation. You're probably coming to see me because your story is making you feel trapped. Or maybe your story has shattered and everything you thought you knew doesn't make sense anymore. I want to help you sort through the pieces and put the pen back in your hand. A lot of folks come in thinking they are irredeemable, beyond repair. I believe the strongest antidote is honest, nonjudgmental connection. I believe we are born into a world of stories. What should a new client know about working with you?

Seeking weirdos! What do you like to nerd out about? I bring my whole self into the room and I would love to see your whole self, too. I enjoy using your language, your perspective, and your interests to help you heal. While I provide individual counseling to adults across many walks of life, I find that the people who express the most benefit from working with me are: -Stressed out moms -Socially anxious nerds -Neurodivergent millennials (late diagnosed, self diagnosed, or questioning) -Stressed out teachers -People who are hurting and just need someone to hear them

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I will challenge you as much as I provide you with comfort. I will point out what I notice along your journey, and that can be uncomfortable. While discomfort can often mean growth, you always have the power to tell me when we need to change gears or when I get something wrong. I am willing to adapt and learn so therapy works best for you.
