Hello, I'm Emily Roney, MSW, LISW-S, LCSW. With over 14 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I am dedicated to serving clients in Ohio, Michigan, and South Carolina. My journey in mental health began with a bachelor's degree in psychology and communications from Marietta College, followed by a master's degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. These academic foundations have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support a diverse range of clients and diagnoses. One of my unique specialties is working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and trauma. Being both autistic and ADHD myself, and as a parent to an autistic child, I bring a deeply personal understanding to my practice. This lived experience allows me to offer a perspective that is both empathetic and insightful, particularly for parents raising autistic children and family members of neurodivergent individuals. As your mental health therapist, my goal is to help you discover and embrace your best self.
