Psychotherapist
CA
Searching for a therapist that is a good fit for you can feel overwhelming, but it can help you live a more fulfilling life, and I’m excited to help you get there. I work with people of all ages, but particularly youth and young adults. Once we meet, I can help you prioritize what you want to get out of therapy and provide you with a nurturing space for navigating life’s challenges. My approach I have a strengths-based and client-centered approach to therapy. I help you recognize your positive traits and utilize them to reach your goals. Beyond that, I tailor my approach to what is helpful for you. That may take the shape of helping you change your negative thinking patterns, teaching you mindfulness techniques for relaxation, or providing you with tools for improving your relationships. When working with youth, I also guide caregivers in knowing how to support their kids through the challenges they are facing or behavioral issues they are working to overcome. My focus Although most of my experience providing therapy has been with children, teens, and young adults, I enjoy working with people of all ages. I help people cope with trauma and the stressors of everyday life, as well as improve their relationships and communication. Whether you or your child has been feeling down lately, spending a lot of time worrying, or is going through changes in life, this can be a great place to gain a deeper understanding and learn how to manage it all. My communication style I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your experiences. I have been told that my calm tone helps put people at ease, and my hope is that you leave sessions feeling heard and validated. My journey to mental healthcare I wish I could say that I always dreamed of becoming a therapist, but that wasn’t the case for me. I always knew that I wanted a career where I could help people, but didn’t know exactly what type of job would be the best fit for me.
