Psychotherapist

My passion is working with young children and the parents and caregivers who love them. My approach is warm, playful, and grounded in a simple belief: that life has its hardships, and you don’t have to face them alone. I also offer support for adults, providing a compassionate space to work through anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. Whether you are navigating difficult work relationships or feeling the unique pressures of the “sandwich generation”—balancing the demands of raising your own family while caring for aging parents—I am here to help you find balance, self-compassion, and sustainable ways to support yourself and your loved ones. Some of my deepest inspiration comes from my own family—helping my nephews, who navigate ADHD and ODD, showed me how much steadiness, compassion, and the right support can change things for a child and the people who love them. I believe in the power of strong, caring relationships, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you as you grow. I’d love to connect and explore whether we’re a good fit to work together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work primarily with young children, along with teens, and parents. Clients often come to me navigating anxiety, big emotions, and the everyday relational knots that show up at home and in the classroom. What draws me to this work is the chance to build community with parents and caregivers—I understand how much a strong support system matters when you’re facing the many challenges of raising children. When we work together, I lead with compassion and understanding, and I follow the child’s lead rather than forcing a rigid plan. Much of meaningful change happens through relationships, so I focus first on creating a space where children feel safe being exactly who they are. And, where parents feel genuinely supported rather than judged. My work integrates Gestalt and family systems that combine play, art, mindfulness, and self-regulation techniques that supports a secure base and genuine connection.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

With younger clients especially, sessions often look less like talking and more like playing, creating, and making sense of big feelings together—at a gentle, steady pace that feels safe and even fun. I also stay closely connected with parents, teachers, and other providers, because children grow best when the adults around them are working as a team.
