Hello, I'm Emily. I obtained my Master's in Counseling from St. Edward's University after graduating from the University of Texas. During my internship at the Austin Police Department Crisis Team, I had the privilege of helping trauma victims and their families navigate some of the toughest moments of their lives. I also have experience in the substance abuse field, where I treated women recovering from addiction at Austin Recovery Family House. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I've had the opportunity to provide counseling at various agencies, including the Austin Psychological Testing Center and Ascension Intensive Outpatient Program. Currently, I am involved in forensic work while also seeing individual clients. My approach to therapy is all about forming a partnership with you, where we work together to make progress and achieve healthy lifestyle changes. I believe in the power of connection and the positive impact it can have on your journey to wellness. I am a native Austinite, and when I'm not working, I love staying active with fitness, spending quality time with my children, and taking walks with my little dog, Lola.
