Psychotherapist
4501 N 22nd St, Ste 220, Phoenix, AZ
**Emma is Cash Pay only - please do not book if you are planning to use your in network insurance. She can, however, provide a superbill to send to your out of network insurance for possible reimbursement. Relationships shape so much of our lives, and yet navigating them isn’t always intuitive. You’re not alone if you’ve found yourself unsure of how to move forward. Maybe it’s the anxiety that pops up when you meet someone new, the way old trauma pulls you out of the present, communication habits that slowly turn harmful, major blowups, or that quiet drifting that can take people by surprise. Whatever the challenge, we all benefit from support, perspective, and practical tools for creating the connections we long for. My work starts with exploring the “what.” What emotions, reactions, or symptoms are showing up for you? From there, we move into the “why.” Why are these feelings coming up now? Why does the past continue to echo into the present? From there, we focus on the “how.” How can you work with your emotions effectively and begin building the kinds of relationships you truly want? Some of the modalities I use include Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, art therapy, attachment-based approaches, psychodynamic and existential work, somatic practices, CBT, and nature-focused therapies. And yes — my therapy dog, Teddy, is part of the process too, providing warm and grounding animal-assisted support. Because therapy works best when the relationship feels safe and comfortable, I invite you to join me for a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. It’s a simple way for us to connect and see if we’re the right fit.

Here are some of the tools I use as your therapist: Brainspotting, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, art, existential, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and nature therapies.
