“Leaving a review for a therapist feels unusual because the experience reflects both the therapist and your own personal growth. Still, Enid deserves every bit of praise. She is patient, compassionate, supportive, knowledgeable, and truly listens without judgment. She is the kind of therapist I wish everyone could experience. She was the third therapist I found through Rula and the first one I genuinely connected with and chose to continue seeing.”

Getting to know Enid Garcia

Change happens when you recognize something isn't working. I became a therapist because I’m fascinated by the resilience of the human spirit. I've seen the power of the therapeutic relationship. If you’re experiencing a challenging season, I'm here to listen without judgment and, as a team, identify what could help you keep going to be successful. My approach We will work as a team; you are the expert in your life, and I will combine empathy with practical tools to identify patterns that are holding you back from your potential. I offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can feel heard and respected, where you can fully express yourself, gain insight, and take steps towards growth. My communication style I value clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening, reflection, clarification, and, when appropriate, challenge maladaptive thoughts and behaviors. If we’re working through something challenging, we will work through it together, you can expect me to be calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare My therapy journey began with a fascination with human resilience, leading to a desire to help others experiencing distress. Working with individuals with severe, chronic mental illness, usually in active crisis, has shown me the power of therapy. I believe that everyone has the capacity to develop change, foster growth, and choose healing. My goals for you I will serve as a consistent supporter of your success. I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s personal growth, improving relationships, or minimizing anxious thoughts. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and relevant, as you move toward where you want to be.

I was suffering from a lot. I needed an in-person meeting. She took her time and listened to me. She gave me examples of improving my thought process and responses. She has helped me to move ahead with positive remarks and still holding me accountable.
Well I would start off by saying this has been a long time coming to have therapy or someone to help me figure out what was wrong with me, but it took a cancer diagnoses to bring me totally into a conclusion that I need help with my anxiety & fear of death, Ms. Garcia listening ear, patience and her ability to hear what I was suffering from changed my life, the suggestions & tools she offered to me has given me a new look upon life inspite of cancer, I have hope today, and that's because of Enid

She is definitely one of the best therapists I've had. She's always very professional but still really down-to-earth. 100% recommend her.
