Getting to know Eric Burns

I am Dr. Burns and I am passionate about assisting others to reduce stress, manage depression, manage addictions, and resolve issues with partners and family. During my doctoral program for my Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Argosy University, I designed and researched an intervention to assist people with DUIs to improve their driving behaviors. After I received my doctorate, I also completed a post-doctorate study with two fellow doctors to demonstrate that this intervention worked. Along with my doctorate degree, I have a Masters in Counseling/Marriage, Family and Child Therapy, and I have worked as a Psychotherapist, DUI Counselor, a Marriage and Family Therapist, a Child Therapist, an Addictions Counselor, a Therapy Supervisor in prison, worked with clients with substance abuse, worked in DUI recovery centers, and in private practice. Now, I wish to help you with whatever journey you are taking, and hope to help you be as happy with your life as you may possibly be.
