Eric Foti, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I believe the main goal of therapy is to remove the obstacles and blockages that preclude us from being genuine. My approach is straightforward yet compassionate. As your therapist, I simply hold the mirror up and allow you to reveal the parts of yourself that have broken off over the years as a result of stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other unresolved issues. Together, we mitigate the impact of maladaptive behaviors and search for answers that are more closely aligned with your goals. The answers to many of life's problems are internal, but we have been conditioned otherwise. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from California Southern University and have over 20 years' experience treating mental health and addiction issues. I use a solution-focused approach that incorporates a wide variety of modalities tailored to your needs. I treat many issues including family of origin, addiction, primary mental health, couples, trauma, and more. I am an EMDR-trained therapist and help clients process painful experiences that disrupt their lives and well-being. I am hesitant to ascribe to any one therapeutic orientation because everybody is different. I combine breathwork, meditation, ACT, CBT, as well as existentialism and spirituality. I look forward to working with you on your path to wellness.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
