Getting to know Eric Mccarty

I understand how anxiety-provoking meeting a new therapist can be, and I do my utmost to provide treatment that is positive, compassionate, and respectful. I love working with people and helping them heal, learn, and grow. My experience is quite diverse. Over the past 20 years, I have helped people struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, loss, past abuse, relationship struggles, and much more. At times, life can simply be too stressful. We may face challenges we never imagined and need help learning new ways to handle these challenges and stress. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Antioch University. In addition to being a Licensed Therapist, I am also a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. As a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor and Trauma Professional, I am trained to assist people of all backgrounds—not just religious individuals—in dealing with issues of grief, loss, and past trauma. After booking, Tava Health will text and email you a link to complete registration and join your video therapy session. Once you complete registration, you’ll be able to log in to Tava to join your session, book additional sessions, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist cannot provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
