What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide online therapy for adults, teens (14+), and couples across Pennsylvania. My style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, where you can share openly and know you’ll be understood without judgment. At the same time, I offer direct feedback and practical tools that you can start using right away. My approach draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. These methods help us explore unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and build new ways of responding to challenges. I see therapy as a partnership — together we’ll set goals that fit your life and work step by step toward meaningful change. Clients often come to me when they’re dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief, relationship struggles, or self-esteem challenges. Teens and young adults may be navigating independence, family boundaries, or confidence issues, while couples often seek better communication and deeper connection. What you can expect in our sessions is a safe, supportive space to reflect and process, balanced with clear strategies and insights to help you move forward. My goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity, confidence, and a sense that change is possible.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you — what brings you to therapy, what challenges you’ve been facing, and what goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll take time to talk through your story at a pace that feels comfortable and begin setting priorities together. From there, sessions typically combine open conversation with practical tools. I may introduce strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you notice and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, or draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to support flexibility, resilience, and values-based living. My approach is collaborative, so we’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is aligned with your needs. Clients can expect a balance of reflection and action — space to process feelings and experiences, paired with concrete steps to practice between sessions. Over time, our work together often leads to greater clarity, healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

Don’t see your insurance?

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $115 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $111 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I accept a variety of insurance plans, and coverage often depends on your individual policy. Zocdoc can help verify your benefits, but I always encourage clients to call their insurance provider directly to confirm details such as copay amounts, deductibles, or session limits. For those using insurance, I will submit claims on your behalf. Any copays, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket fees are due at the time of the session. Payments can be made easily by credit or debit card through the secure client portal. If you are paying out of pocket, I offer self-pay rates and can provide a detailed receipt (“superbill”) if you’d like to seek reimbursement from your insurance as an out-of-network provider. My goal is to make the financial side of therapy as transparent and stress-free as possible, so you can focus on the work we’ll be doing together.
