Here is a bit about me: Education and Professional Background I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Savannah State University, my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia Southwestern State University, and my Master of Science (MS) in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Capella University. I am working toward completing my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision at Capella University, with an estimated graduation year of 2025. I have worked in the mental health profession since 2019. However, before starting this venture, I worked in accounting and finance in the corporate world for about ten years. I have experience teaching business, finance, general education, and clinical mental health counseling courses in higher education. Licensure and Certifications I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona. In addition to this credentials, I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board Certified in Telemental Health (BC-TMH) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I am approved to provide clinical supervision in Arizona. Please check out more information on clinical supervision services in the “services” section. Counseling Approach and Expertise In a counseling setting, I lean towards an eclectic approach. This means that I do not adopt a single or a set of therapeutic approaches. However, I tend to read the room with clients and incorporate the approach that best fits their needs. This approach has been known to set more of an informal and flexible tone in sessions. I work with individuals, children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, I work with couples and families.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Feeling misunderstood can feel like standing in a crowded room and still feeling invisible. You give your all in relationships and life itself, but deep down, you're drained, wondering if anyone truly sees or hears you. You’ve mastered the art of the façade, but it leaves you feeling disconnected from your authentic self. You're ready to feel confident, empowered, and connected—to rekindle intimacy, improve communication, and finally feel understood. If that resonates with you, I want you to know you’re not alone. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families untangle emotional blocks, rebuild self-worth, and reconnect with themselves and others. Whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating a painful relationship, recovering from emotional burnout, or adjusting to a life transition like divorce, parenting, or identity shifts, I’ll meet you with empathy, authenticity, and flexible tools tailored to your goals. My therapeutic style is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I use an eclectic approach, which means I pull from various evidence-based modalities (like CBT, person-centered, solution-focused, and narrative therapy) based on your unique needs. I offer a judgment-free space where you can finally drop the mask, explore your truth, and grow. Clients often share that they feel seen and safe in our sessions—that it’s the first time in a while they haven’t felt alone in what they’re going through. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Let’s start by exploring your story, your goals, and what it would mean for you to feel truly fulfilled.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and deeply rooted in creating a safe, supportive space where you can show up as your full self, with no judgment and no pressure. I believe that healing begins with being seen, heard, and understood. Our work typically begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation, which is optional. This gives us both a chance to connect briefly, explore what you’re looking for, and determine if we’re a good fit. If we decide to move forward, your first session will focus on gathering a complete picture of your concerns, history, current stressors, and goals for therapy. From there, we’ll collaboratively create a treatment plan that fits you, your life, your challenges, and your strengths. I use an eclectic therapy approach, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs while maintaining flexibility as those needs evolve. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, and together we’ll work toward creating insight, building healthy coping strategies, and exploring new ways of navigating your relationships, emotions, and sense of self. I also provide practical tools and support between sessions when appropriate. I work with individuals (adults, teens, and children), couples, and families. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, navigating a tough relationship, working through a breakup or divorce, or managing the impact of trauma or life transitions, I’m here to help guide you toward clarity, empowerment, and growth. Your story matters. Therapy is your space to reclaim your voice, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
