Erica helps individuals understand how their past experiences, sometimes traumatic, affect their present struggles with anxiety, stress, or depression and often interfere with their ability to cultivate and maintain relationship satisfaction. Erica works with adults and adolescents facing challenges related to self-esteem, relationships, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and difficult life transitions. She is passionate about helping individuals heal from past trauma and incorporates various trauma-informed treatment modalities in her therapeutic approach. Erica earned her Master's in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University. Before graduate school, Erica was involved in various facets of the performing arts industry and worked for ten years as a Medical Esthetician in dermatology and plastic surgery. When she is not working, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, experiencing all that Chicago has to offer.
