Psychotherapist
KY
Hello! I'm Erica, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over six years of experience in the mental health field. Born and raised in Paducah, KY, alongside my older brother, I developed a deep connection to my community early on. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2004 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Criminology. After spending some time in Bowling Green, I moved to Louisville, KY, in 2007 to work as an adoption worker with CPS. This role ignited my passion for community well-being and led me to pursue further education in this field. In 2011, I earned a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Webster University, and in 2013, I returned to Webster to obtain a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Throughout my career, I have also gained valuable experience working part-time as a case manager. I specialize in working with teens and adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that positive affirmations and shifting our perceptions can make a significant impact on our mental health. I understand that it can be challenging to find the silver lining in difficult situations, but I firmly believe that there is always a positive aspect to be discovered. When we work together, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment where we will focus on your strengths and build resilience. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges and empower you to make meaningful changes. If you're ready to take the first step towards a more positive and fulfilling life, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to find the positives and create lasting change.
