Getting to know Erik Schlimmer

With nearly 3,000 sessions under my belt, I bring a wealth of experience to this field. I possesses a Master's in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration, a Bachelor's in Speech Communication with a Public Speaking Concentration, and an Associate's in Wilderness Leadership. Beyond being an LCSW, I’m a National Association of Social Workers clinical supervisor. I work with individuals dealing with bipolar, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I help with life transitions,, military and veteran issues, and unfulfilling relationships. In other words, I got you! When I’m not in the office, I’m in the wilderness. I’ve hiked and biked and camped all over the U.S. and have worked as a backcountry ranger, trail builder, Appalachian Trail ridge runner, bird catcher (you read that right), and wilderness leadership instructor.
