Getting to know Erika Bischoff

I have several years of clinical experience in working with individuals and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. I use a cognitive behavior therapy approach to help clients learn skills they can use the rest of their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Change is possible and I believe that all individuals deserve the opportunity to create positive changes that will impact them throughout their lives. My role in the therapeutic process is to help clients explore patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives and provide them skills to gain more control and build healthy and meaningful relationships. I strive to provide a creative and collaborative environment by which clients can reach their goals in a relatively short time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide online therapy which has shown to be as effective as in person therapy. It can provide ease and convenience for more consistent therapy. All insurances should cover telehealth the same as an office visit. Please verify your benefits with your insurance plan. With telehealth I can provide services throughout all of California.
