Getting to know Erika Gomez

Hello, I am Erika. Do you sometimes feel as if you've had a good day so far but still wonder why you feel anxious or worried about your thoughts? You may struggle with racing thoughts about what you will do next or start to worry about things that have not yet happened. I am eclectic in my approach and apply different therapeutic techniques based on the individual needs of the people I work with. I specialize in PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse issues. I am also an LGBTQ+ ally. I seek to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want your life to be emotionally and mentally. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Webster University. When we understand ourselves, we are better able to accept ourselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session will be more of an introduction for both and to determine if we are a good fit. The following session will be focused on goal setting in small steps towards long-term goals. I hope to help you see the problems through different lenses to allow different solutions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
