I'm a compassionate psychotherapist who has been providing mental health services since 2007 and psychotherapy since 2020. I hold a Master's in Human Counseling from Capella University. What should a new client know about working with you?

I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients gain a better understanding of their mental health, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop healthier patterns of behavior. My goal is to empower my clients so they can reach their full potential.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My sessions are structured, supportive, and practical. In the first visit, we’ll talk about what brought you in, review your symptoms and history, and set clear goals together (including diagnosis when appropriate). Ongoing sessions usually include a quick check-in, a focused topic, and skill-building using evidence-based approaches (CBT/DBT-informed and behavioral strategies). I often share simple tools—worksheets, coping strategies, and “home practice”—so you can apply what we discuss between sessions..
