What should a new client know about working with you?

When you step into a session with me, you can expect to be met with warmth, empathy, and a genuine presence. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are—whether you're feeling lost, overwhelmed, hopeful, or anything in between. My approach is rooted in compassion. I’m here to walk alongside you, to listen deeply, and to hold space for your experiences, no matter how complex. Together, we’ll explore at your pace, guided by your needs and goals. You won't be rushed or pushed—you’ll be supported. Above all, this is your space to be seen, heard, and understood.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first session is all about getting to know each other and beginning to build a foundation of trust and understanding. You don’t need to prepare anything or worry about saying the “right” thing—just come as you are. I’ll invite you to share a bit about what brought you here, what you’re hoping to work on, and anything that feels important for me to know about your story. We'll also talk through any questions or concerns you may have about therapy. This is a space where you’ll be heard, not judged. I'll explain how I work, what confidentiality looks like, and what you can expect from our sessions moving forward. It’s completely okay if you’re unsure about your goals or even how to put your feelings into words—that’s part of what we can explore together. Most of all, this first session is a chance for you to feel out the space, the process, and our connection. Your comfort and emotional safety are my priority.
