In therapy, this might look like exploring which patterns in your life are and are not working for you, then finding the best ways to navigate them. It could also mean working together to build motivation and confidence, especially when barriers arise. Therapy can be both challenging and empowering. I believe people have the potential for growth and change. As a therapist, I strive to provide a non-judgmental and validating space for my clients. I am a licensed psychologist and earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have worked in inpatient settings, drug and alcohol rehab, and outpatient mental health settings, providing individual and group therapy. I practice therapy through a cognitive behavioral lens and incorporate strategies from other approaches, such as dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and relapse prevention. My experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: substance use, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger, stress management and navigating life transitions, disordered eating and eating disorders, body image concerns, bipolar disorder, self-harm, and trauma.
