When faced alone, it can be daunting and become a scary place. Trauma, anxiety, depression, or life struggles can take control of your thoughts and imprison you into thinking you're all alone. Taking a step forward to get help can be difficult, but very brave. I believe in working side by side with you to help you work through life's challenges to find your inner confidence and hidden voice. Our objective is to find the best version of you by setting new boundaries in your life, speaking up, and finding confidence that you never knew you had within you. For the past 18 years, I have dedicated my life to working in a community behavioral health setting, focusing primarily on youth and their families. I don't believe in a 'one-size-fits-all' approach to providing therapy. Instead, I use a person-centered approach. I'll work collaboratively with you to find the best version of yourself. I believe in helping others find the freedom to become their own best self, whatever that may look like. I like to use an eclectic approach in therapy, specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I have experience in working with individuals who have experienced depression; anxiety; trauma; self-harm; suicidal thoughts; family conflict; anger management; poor impulse control; substance use; grief; gender identity; and other life transitions.
