Erin Ritter, LPCC

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Erin! Erin Ritter is a Licensed Professional Counselor with licenses in California, Nevada, New Jersey, Utah, and Pennsylvania. She is also a licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor in New Jersey and has been recognized as a National Certified Counselor since 2012. Erin earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. My approach As a psychotherapist, I take a holistic approach to my work, addressing the connection between mind, body, and spirit within the systems of being. I am proficient in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and harm reduction. I also incorporate breathwork, yoga, ceremony, nutrition, and meditation into my practice. My focus I have treated individuals, couples, and families coping with acute psychiatric disorders, mood and systems disorders, as well as existential and quality of life concerns. Areas I focus on include life transitions and stressors, self-compassion, low self-esteem, perfectionism, emotion regulation, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use issues, women’s issues, grief, and couples issues. My communication style I understand that therapy is not “one size fits all,” so I tailor it to each individual’s needs. Working together, you will be empowered to break down barriers, explore challenges, and foster meaningful connections within your whole self. I collaborate with you to reach your goals, refresh your lifestyle, and walk the path to living your highest, most authentic self. I believe the healer lies within, and as a result, therapy feels like an alliance of professional support partnered with your insight, individual needs, and strengths to customize your treatment and facilitate growth.
