As a practitioner, Erin recognizes that difficult life experiences can deeply impact a person’s emotional and physical well-being. Her goal as a guide is to hear her client’s experiences, process their journey, and help them develop a meaningful understanding of themselves. She assists her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals by creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space in which mutual respect, honesty, and trust can be built. Erin uses an eclectic approach by drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques to best address her client’s individual needs. She favors an integrative embodied process and is skilled in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, and Humanistic modalities. Erin has experience working with individuals from a wide range of cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She also has experience working with AODA clients in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. Erin received her Masters degree in Community Psychology from Alverno College and acquired a certificate in Advanced Trauma Studies. She also received her Undergraduate Degree from Alverno College.
