Hello, I'm Erin, and I'm so glad you're here! Congratulations on taking a bold step to seek coaching or counseling for yourself or your family. Your story is unique and important to me. Having been in clinical practice since 1998, I have the experience to quickly work together with you to make a very effective plan for change. I provide both coaching and counseling, and a quick phone call can help determine which would be appropriate for you or your loved ones. My specific areas of expertise include: * Adults, children, and adolescents with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, or grief issues. * Children and adolescent behavioral, social, emotional, mental, or academic concerns. * Parent Coaching/Counseling for working with challenging children and teens. * ADHD or other learning disabilities, oppositional/defiant/disruptive or explosive behavior. * School classroom behavioral management and academic motivation. * Autism spectrum disorders (high functioning). * Self-harm, bullying, somatic symptoms, mood disorders. My journey has been very diverse. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, and have 25 years of clinical practice with adults, children, and adolescents. A few of my specialty areas include: ADHD, anxiety, and depression, grief, life transitions, as well as other mood or adjustment concerns. I am also one of the most experienced clinicians in the world for The Nurtured Heart Approach®, a highly effective parenting and classroom management approach for children, adolescents, and young adults. With life experience that includes working on Wall Street, and teaching music and T’ai Chi, I returned to school and obtained my Master’s Degree from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 1998. In addition, I have been a student of non-traditional healing, and I have rounded out my education with study in many spiritual and religious traditions.
