Hello, my name is Kay Borden, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with 18 years of experience. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Southern California Seminary. I believe therapy is my calling, and I love helping people who are in need, searching for someone to care for and listen to. We all face struggles, times of hurt, and confusion. It's important to seek out someone to process these feelings with, work through issues, and gain perspective.
My therapeutic approach centers on building a completely trusting relationship with each of my clients. As a Christian, I believe in the dignity of all people. I am open, honest, non-judgmental, and caring, providing a safe environment. I aim to work with my clients as a team to help you reach the goals you have set for yourself. I offer complete support and insight so you can build a better understanding of yourself while gaining helpful tools to address and adapt to life's challenges.
